Could anyone recommend a qualified Enfield experienced gunsmith located in Washington State? For fitting a replacement barrel?

I know of one in Idaho as he is doing two re-barrels for me.

Contact info for your Idaho guy? Can't seem to locate anyone in Washington.

Sheesh ... the only name I can think of is Scott Stonehill and Brian Dick but neither are in your neck of the woods.

FWIW -
I have an otherwise excellent condition "two groove" '43 Maltby No4 Mk1 - but discovered a deeply pits /corrosion in a narrow line on "bottom side" of bore about 10" out from chamber, only after shooting and thorough cleaning. This rifle surprisingly proved to be very accurate at 150 - 200 yards in spite of condition, but am worried about the deep line of pits/corrosion in bore getting worse etc. hence the idea of finding a replacement barrel, and locating a qualified 'smith to install it. After a long and somewhat frustrating search, I received a positive reply from NUMRICH GUN PARTS, took a chance and placed an order - long story short version: I received a two groove No4 barrel from them yesterday. A few Hoppes #9 soaked patches pulled through revealed a beautiful shiny defect free bore with excellent rifling from chamber to ding free crown!! Couldn't be more pleased. If anyone else is needing a Enfield No4 barrel, might be wise to contact them - they obviously have some good ones. And thanks to "poincianacab" for the 'smith tip. |

Anyone know of a gun smith in the Cincinnati, Ohio area? I have an Enfield that needs rebarreling.
