I have a Very Good Syrian Falcon with 3 stars Crested Mauser in 8mm
Looks just like a M48 the rifle only has some M stamp on the small parts. All milled parts .All matching numbers Did Yugoslavia sell these to Syria?

Yugoslavia sold them to a lot of countries. They produced the M48's without markings for exporting (the M48bo). The Syrian crest would have been added by
the Syrians themselves.

How was the Crest stamp added after the receiver ring was Case Hardened?Or are the receiver rings Soft?
