M48 Follower Spring

Just received a new(to me) Yugo M48 and it has a few problems. The firing pin is broken and the follower spring is broken as well. I am going to be
contacting the seller, but in the mean time, can someone advise me if the follower springs for other Mausers, i.e. the K98, will work in the M48? I know the
firing pins are different, but what about the follower spring?

Thanks in advance.

I have a few in my spare parts kit that I'm willing to share. PM me an address and I'll send one out.
I'll check, but I think all of my firing pins are for long bolts. Can you provide an approximate length?

Dave,
Thanks, but I contacted the seller (J&G) and they are sending a replacement for both parts. Rick Reich also has them and I went ahead...

I can verify that, yes, a standard 98 magazine spring will fit in both the 24/47 and M48 just fine. Oh, and Top... good luck to you on finding a firing pin,
those intermediate length ones can be a pain to find.

Any intermediate length firing pin should work.
A follower spring out of most any 98 should fit too.
I don't have any out to where I can pull one and check, but it seems that the last time I buggered one up good, a good friend put me back into action with
a Turk spring.
